History of Music New Mexico Style:
v The Show was started by Anthony Segura in April 2002
v Helps promote New Mexico Music, New Mexico musicians and our New Mexico culture
v Over 97 television shows promoting our New Mexico music and our local New Mexico artists
v The show has been aired live to an audience of over 40,000 people locally on the Community Access Cable Channel 27. This channel is on the Comcast Cable network. The Comcast Cable network has a viewing audience from Belen to the South, to Bernalillo to the North and the East mountains. Comcast Cable has a total viewing audience of over 400,000 cable subscribers locally
v The show also is rebroadcast in eight other cities in New Mexico, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Espanola, Los Alamos, Taos, The Silver City area, Tucumcari and Las Vegas, NM. With proposed viewing cities of Raton, New Mexico and in Trinidad, Colorado
v To date, 97 shows have aired throughout New Mexico and Colorado
v June 7th 2006 Music New Mexico Style Inc. became a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Corporation. Under Internal Revenue Code Music New Mexico Style Inc. can receive contributions that are deductible under IRS regulations.
v October 4th, 2007, Music New Mexico Style starts it's 6th season on Channel 27
